Cancer Screening & Early Detection
Early detection saves lives — don’t put it off.
Cancer screening is one of the most powerful tools we have for catching cancer early, when it is most treatable. Our GPs will help ensure you are up to date with recommended screenings and discuss your individual risk.
What we provide
- Cervical screening (every 5 years for women aged 25–74)
- Bowel cancer screening referral (National Bowel Cancer Screening Program)
- Breast cancer screening referral to BreastScreen SA
- Prostate cancer risk assessment (PSA testing)
- Skin cancer checks and mole mapping
- Lung cancer surveillance for high-risk individuals
- Discussion of family history and genetic risk
- Referral to specialists for further investigation of suspicious findings
Who is this for?
All adults — particularly those over 40, those with a family history of cancer, or anyone overdue for a routine screening.
What to expect
Your GP will review which screenings are recommended for your age, gender, and risk profile. Some screenings can be done in the clinic, while others require a referral. We will make the process as straightforward as possible.
