Mental Health
Early detection saves lives — don’t put it off.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Our GPs provide supportive, non-judgmental care for a wide range of mental health concerns. We understand that seeking help takes courage, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
What we provide
- Assessment and management of depression and anxiety
- Stress, burnout, and adjustment concerns
- Mental health care plans (MHCP) — enabling Medicare-rebated sessions with a psychologist
- Referrals to psychologists, counsellors, and psychiatrists
- Crisis support and safety planning
- Support for grief and loss
- Medication management for mental health conditions
- Telehealth mental health consultations available for added privacy and convenience
Who is this for?
Anyone experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties — whether mild, moderate, or severe. You do not need to be in crisis to seek support.
What to expect
Your consultation is completely confidential. Your GP will listen without judgment and work with you to develop a plan that suits your needs. If a Mental Health Care Plan is appropriate, this allows you to access Medicare-rebated psychology sessions.
