Diagnostic Testing
Investigations to support accurate diagnosis and ongoing care.
Appropriate diagnostic testing is a key part of good medical care. Our GPs can arrange a broad range of investigations and will guide you through understanding your results.
What we provide
- Blood tests and pathology referrals (collected locally or at approved pathology providers)
- Imaging referrals including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRI
- ECG (electrocardiogram) for cardiac assessment
- Spirometry and lung function testing
- Urinalysis and in-clinic testing for common conditions
- Swabs and wound cultures
- Referral for specialist investigations such as endoscopy or colonoscopy
- 24 Hour Holter Monitoring
Who is this for?
Anyone who requires investigation for a new or ongoing health concern as part of their diagnosis or treatment plan.
What to expect
Your GP will discuss which tests are appropriate for your situation, arrange the necessary referrals or request forms, and explain what the results mean at a follow-up appointment. Please note that results are not given over the phone — a follow-up consultation ensures your results are explained properly and any next steps are discussed.
